Welcome to the presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany at Saudi Arabia's showcase for the latest developments in oil and gas and petrochemical technologies, equipment and machinery.
During the past decade Saudi Arabia has proven to be a very reliable trade partner for German machinery producers, importing machinery and equipment for more than EUR 1 billion in 2008, total exports more than quadrupling since beginning of the century. Welcome to the presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany at Saudi Arabia's showcase for the latest developments in oil and gas and petrochemical technologies, equipment and machinery.
During the past decade Saudi Arabia has proven to be a very reliable trade partner for German machinery producers, importing machinery and equipment for more than EUR 1 billion in 2008, total exports more than quadrupling since beginning of the century. The same is true for equipment for the oil- and gas- as well as the petrochemical industry; export of process equipment, pumps, compressors and valves have shown good growth the last years. But since those branches show considerable possibilities in the next years, German companies cannot rest and take advantage of this year's Saudi Oil & Gas and Saudi Petrochem to present themselves in this glooming market.
For German Industry business contacts are an important factor to strength bi-lateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Germany. VDMA, the German Engineering Federation and its more than 3.000 member companies - more than 500 of them supplying oil- and gas- and process industries - are proud to be a reliable partner in the framework of economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Germany. VDMA therefore is the initiating organization of the German joint presentation and a representative will provide visitors with professional advice. It is a pleasure for German Industry to provide their customers in Saudi Arabia with cost effective, technologically state-of-the-art solutions.
This year, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) are for the first time supporting a German group presentation that provides a platform for eight companies to present their state-of-the-art products and to offer their renowned services to key players and decision makers from all over Saudi Arabia and neighbouring countries.
On behalf of the exhibiting companies, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, AUMA as well as VDMA wish all participants a successful show and extend a warm welcome to all visitors of the German Pavilion in hall 3, booth no. 3A200.
